In 2018 Dunnie Onasanya joined VisArts Center in Rockville MD as an Associate Artist 5 years into her artist residency she is now also a faculty member.

Studio Artists are selected by the VisArts Advisory Board, a group of arts professionals. Criteria for selection include artistic merit, proposal for studio intent and engagement.
